Day 2 of Camp

Another day of camp. We've had to make some adjustments due to some circumstances that we didn't prepare for. There were teenagers that came that we did not have a program for. But what a great team to step it up. Darcie did a wonderful job with coming up with ideas and such. And Paul took the older boys and played basketball with a little devotional time.
The kids were excited today and a little out of control because they were allowed to go swimming for half the price. Just a little chaos though, because you don't know who they are and you can't speak thier language...so getting them admitted in to swim was hard.

I had my first home visit today. Quite a nerv us wreck..It's been so long in sharing my faith and especially with adults, and I was feel inadequate to do God's work. I needed more training in the Evangelism Explosion training that we were going to use. I kept in constant prayer as we went out. The first home was of a widower and her daughter. They were very nice and we believe they were already believers. The second home we had was a little different. The man just couldn't believe. He had no faith in God and couldn't come to understand that even though we still sin we can be holy through God. It was a hard concept for him to understand. We read many scriptures....though the exciting thing was his 3 kids understood. And it was a night of rejoicing.

Now it is almost 11pm and time for dinner and bed. My whole family waited to eat dinner till we got back. The home visits are lasting till 10:30 and between 4-6 there isn't much time to get food as we must shower and get ready for the evening. It was a tiring day, and we are almost half way through with our trip.
