I am forever reminded of this narrow path I drive on every day here until Mid-November, so they say. Where is the Father taking me now. I pray daily as a reminder leaving my street, that God has a path for me. Right now, it's this path that I'm following. Whether it be easy or hard, or hurtful, or emotionally difficult. My mind is not focused on what I want for my life, but the things of His glory. It's a Risk that I will take to serve Him. It's not about the material things in life. I'm in this slow process of accepting my circumstances and trusting He knows best for me and I pray that I will not become bitter and angry towards God and continue to listen and obey the Spirit's calling in my life.

I want to Believe

Where have I put my trust? All I need is Christ. All I need is to follow the laws of Christ. There is nothing more that I need but Christ. I feel physically lonely, but the Holy Spirit can give me that trust I need. I look at my life and it's so routine and how I never change the daily schedule. There are no excuses for how I feel. I feel so guilty to even talk about it because I can make choices to change how I feel. But the rejections often forces my energy to fall back to doing nothing. I am listening to your teaching and understanding your grace for me. Only the cross will remove the guilt and shame. I do not want to be weighted down by condemnation. I've been carrying so much for so long, that it's easy to think life is is normal to live weighted down. The truth is apart from the cross, condemnation is normal. There is no condemnation for those in Christ. I am completely free. God is glorified when we believe with all our hearts that those who trust in Christ can never be condemned. Do not doubt Jesus ability to remove all my sins through his sacrifice. I am able to live and walk in grace-motivated obedience. Break down those walls and help me to turn toward your redemption of the blood of Christ. You alone can bless my life. Renew my spirit and cleanse my soul to a pure life; a holy life that pleases your will.
Only at the cross, will I be renewed...at your knees, I fall and ask for your forgiveness.

WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS!!!
The last few months have proven this phrase to be correct, over and over and over!
How will I handle all the stress life has brought? I'm still working on that. Emotions have been over the top, and I am so ready to live a normal life. But I'm learning, I don't know what a normal life is. I thought going to work, coming home to work on school work, then bed was a normal life. But I need more than that. The routine is too mundane for me. Where is the FUN in life?
Sometimes life just seems to race right by you. I feel like I need life to not race by me, and take a moment to embrace the moment. Good or Bad. When someone frequently reminds me H.G.I.E.(HIS GRACE IS ENOUGH), I stop to think of all the Grace God has given me. He will get me through. His love and grace and strength is enough for me. I need to pray for more of His love in my life, and show that to others. I need to pray for more strength, to live everyday for Him. I need to pray for more of His selflessness to show in my life. God's grace is enough for any situation. I've learned that I don't deserve God's gift of love, strength, motivation, unexpected gifts, but through His grace, I can learn to give it back to others. Whatever the trial may be---give a little back.. and see how encouraged you will be. (I recently sent a plant over to a friend, and the blessings of serving someone else took the pain away through God's grace and mercy). It requires more of me, but in the end, the cost and sacrifice, is so worth it.

Lord, make me a servant. Who knew tying a shoe today would make me learn about your love and grace. (So I tied a shoe, got called to another student to tie a shoe, and returned back to the same student to tie her other shoe....I was a tad bit frustrated, and learned what being a servant was through shoe tying).

First days Back

It's like reading the comics the first few days back to school!

Day 1 of announcements: Principal asked if the students would please be silent as you recite the pledge.

5th graders were so excited I brought out a kickball for P.E. (they were using a basketball).

Kindergartners needed a lesson on how to open a milk carton.

Do you know who your teacher is? No,(cry).

7th grader...Do you know your bus driver, NO. Do you know your address, NO. Poor kid almost cried.

Second grader walking down the hall, "I'm really lost".

A kindergarten tried to dump their lunch tray in the recycle bin...I'm sure they will love mixed vegetables when they pick it up.

Is this the gym...Yes " Wow, it's big". We get all this space for us"

This was said while tying a shoe, and asking how the kindergarten girl like school.
"I really like school. recess is really fun, and so is P.E., and Music. Oh, and I love art too. There are so many things"

5th graders asked to run suicides the 1st day of P.E.

The thrill of taking one shoe off and leaving it in their P.E.spots was a thrill to kids K-3. Then they did a little running around, back and forth to corners of the gym, in practice to memorize where their spot was. The shoe was placed in their spot as a reminder.

Overall, it was a good week. I had a cruel joke played on me today. The P.E. teacher had to go teach a class, so I was told to pass out locks and work on that with 6th grade. Easy, I've done this enough times, and know the process. What he forgot to mention, was over half the bin of locks did not have locker combination on them. So we spent the entire class looking them up, trying to help open locks, and the chaos continued. At one point 5 teachers were in the gym helping.

Baptism

JORDAN RIVER
August 4th, 2007
3 years today marks the Anniversary date of my Baptism. Sermons in 2007 led to the probing of accepting the call of God. Sitting on the bus on the way to the Jordan River, only 1 hand raised to be baptized. Andre, our bus driver and tour guide gave a long "lecture", sermon after we had read some scripture. I know I sat there uncomfortable, wondering if I really should do it. I'm in most cases, a very quiet, shy girl who keeps to herself. And I definitely was going to hold on to that trait at this moment in time. The tug was huge in my heart, and even as we walked off the bus, I think my decision was still a big NO! Talking to several team members, I took the stand. It was an incredible experience, as I stood in obedience to God. Experiencing it where Jesus was baptized, having my team stand next to me, God in his perfect plan sent me to Israel on an amazing journey.

I've grown tremendously in the last 3 years! My heart is still tugged at the memories and being obedient to his calling. God still calls me daily to His cross, and I am reminded of the sacrifice he has made. I am reminded of the blessings received through being faithful to His calling. The road to heaven is not easy, but living the life He has given me, with His Spirit living in me, I can follow and obey His truths.

Back to reality~

...I'm back from my wonderful, relaxing, T.V. watching, holding babies, playing playdoh, sleeping in, drinking coffee,home-cooked meals,
puzzles,time with friends---vacation!

Now, I must face the challenge of school!
4 weeks till "Back to School". But I must get back to business and a routine. Yes, it is quite challenging, but God is giving me the strength to continue. Though not really motivated today on this Monday.
