Flood thoughts

This will be a work in progress as I'm working from my iPod
But our basement has been flooded like all others but not as devastating for those losing their homes.
It's been an inconvenience for sure- but then as I'm in-between rooms I thought of all the things I rely didn't need. Including my computer- because nowhere to put it, it's been in-operable.
God has been faithful to us as we did have water from our pool but we were draining it for a new liner.
We had plenty of beach towels to soak up the water- family members to help move furniture and bail water.
As I watch water come in and dirty the carpet- it is being cleaned up by a shop vac. but then there is living water In Christ where he washes our "dirt" away. I was able to see that beauty in a baptism of my niece and sister n law this weekend. We serve a faithful God in the midst of tragedy- I can have confidence in Christ through his word and the body of Christ.
