Update!
I promised an update, yet my week has been full. I am enjoying a night off though, and it's nice to be able to rest
My runners did an awesome job, and am pleased to have a high jump, 4x200,400,4x400 going to state! Now I need to check the IESA website for ranking. It's going to be a full weekend at East Side Center.
Also--- My 7th grade Girls team placed 3rd Overall.

So I continue to get compliments on how well my coaching has been this year. Though I beg to differ as I have realized that I have just been a coach that runs her girls like crazy.

So maybe I shouldn't have ran my kids into the ground, the night before a dual meet. {100,200,400,800,1600,400,200,100}oops! That will do it...shouldn't have ran the ladder workout. But hey- with all this rain, I was positive it would be canceled and technically, it would have given them 4 days off. Oh, and I shouldn't mess around with trying to stack my relay team, but hey--you gotta try everything to get faster b/f the BIG sectional meet. My girl's are still working on 2009 records...
Unfortunately, the weather was co-operative with us. Though a big meet at Dunlap with 5 other schools, we did well.
I thank my 10 girls[*5- 6th graders, 5- 7th graders] who work hard for me every day at practice and give it all they have. While Dunlap and Farmington girls run only 1-2 events a meet, my girls are maxed out with 3-4. We place 2nd out of 11 teams in the conference(the only team that beat us was a team that had to bring an entire bus for their Girl's team).

Looking forward to some big meets this week and hoping we qualify for state.
I'll update who I have going for state at Eastside Center on May 9th.
