The question of the day presented itself with.."Miss Childs, When did you get glasses?
(Answer: In Kindergarten)
Guess what happens when you rarely wear your glasses to work, about 50 students were shocked and amazed and some even thought I had just gone to the eye doctor yesterday to get glasses.
Oh so you want to know the reason you say....Well I had a nice mishap and down the drain my contact went, or so I think. This has happened 2x now in the last 2 years. Maybe I'll think twice before I think it's in my eye and it faintly disappears. Unfortunately, I have gas permeable and it will cost. Seems like things just keep coming my way financially. I'm loving all these monstrous bills. First, the computer cord, then the gas tank cable, now the contacts...what else am I missing?

Scrabble Anyone?
I spent a wonderful evening Monday with Friends, and played the word game"SCRABBLE".
Anyone know what QUAG is, yeah...we looked it up in the official scrabble dictionary back from 1978.How do you ever keep something like that, especially when you pack up for overseas mission work, and come back in 5 yrs. to find it in storage!

The wonderful perks of my job is music. We have a nice sound system in the gym and have allowed students to bring in appropriate music to play during class. So I've had it up to my ears with Taylor Swift, but enjoyed some Keith Urban today. Though since the morning turned blue early, I started with the Had a Bad Day song...
The girls bring in Girl CD's and the boys, haven't quite figured out any good Cd's yet...
