It's About the Cross - Christmas Music Video

Taken from Nada (Thank You my friend). Miss you and wishing a Merry Christmas to all my friends in Palestine!!!!!
Worshiping with my friends in Bethlehem. This is sort of what it looks like in the city. What is Christmas? It is a Savior wrapped in a manger. Glory to God in the highest. I am rejoicing in my Savior's birth, and thanking the Lord for the life he has given me and the blessings.

In a Manger

Be reminded this Christmas:

It's difficult when everything around you is busy. It's difficult when you can talk yourself into your own feelings instead of what is real. Believe God is true to his promises.

Praying for a silent night, when all is busy and chaotic, that you'll take some time to reflect on the cross. After this week---I'm re-focusing my life, and praying I'll take the next 32 weeks in stride, and not in frustration. God's plan is perfect, and when we have faith that in anticipation He will bring us new experiences with him, and we follow and obey, Christ is exalted.
I am not allowing emotions take authority, and letting my thoughts become biblical thinking. I can reason with myself many times, but talking to myself about what is real, will get me cross centered living.

20 Days till Christmas

I need a silent night...A holy night...

With all the hustle and bustle of Christmas--I need to reflect on my Savior. His birth is special. His life is amazing. His gift is perfect.

I can honestly say it's been a rough couple of months of ups and downs of trials throughout my life, and I am sad to say that my life has not reflected all He has given me. Through trials I have sought much anger, tears, and frustrations. Tonight I reflect that He is my savior and it is through His grace that I can say he will carry me through. He has redeemed us. He is our Savior. This Christmas---remember he came as a baby, born in a manger, and is our Savior! Honor Him today and everyday.Give Glory to God. Thank Him for the many blessings.
Jill---when times are tough, you still point me to the truth. Thanks for the gentle love, and blessings I am receiving from your prayers and reading the Word together. You are a wonderful friend and disciple.

Natalie--Thank you for never letting my emotions get the best of me and making me turn the negative into positive, and continue writing novels. Thank you for always inviting me to bible study and keeping me around friends.

Jenny--You are dearer to me than anyone. If I could count the years you have listened to me in all my fears. All the years you've invested in my life more than I could imagine. Thank you for always believing in me.

Karye--Your love and prayers have been a blessing. Thank you for all the encouragement.

Kristie---Your faithfulness through extreme difficulties have given me so much encouragement.

Amanda--I am so thankful I have someone at work to talk to. I will miss you while you follow God's leading at home. Thank you for the many prayers and hugs to encourage me throughout the day.

My parents-- You are my biggest fan club. Dad, you have been an inspiration to continue in Education. Mom, your love and prayers are my encouragement to keep going. You help me see the positive, when I can't see the light.

Bridges

Bridges is a form of art that I love...I can remember crossing the Mackinaw Island, which is 5 miles long...and in return listening to my Mom cry b/c we failed to mention clearly the length of this bridge. (We were full aware of her fear). Yet with 5 kids in the back, we were overly excited as we stopped for a break before we made the 5 mile trek across to a fun vacation or a long 2 minute cry of plea from my mom.(OOh, she might read this).
Today, I look back and can place the bridges God has helped create in my life to mold me into a more godly, honoring life. God does not ask us to become complacent in our lives and let the sins of anger, rage, and malice dwell within us. They are all equal in God's eyes as a great danger of living your life in these sins. He asks us to fill our lives with love, compassion, patience, forgiveness, and bear fruit, even when it may hurt to obey. God's infinite love helps us to live out these virtues. I can only say my heart is in a very slow process of building more bridges within the body of Christ, and not walls. I will trust in his faithfulness, and continue to pray that I will make a difference in sharing Christ with others. Through friendships, I've become challenged to make a difference through discipleship. Though, my inability to gain strength, and confidence and remember 'His Grace is Enough', forces me to fear and unwilling to take risks. Only through trusting in His spirit and taking the step of faith, can I let go of the fears and Trust his unfailing plan. The challenge is to discipleship someone younger than me, but at the moment too many fears of unknown are running through my unstable brain. I choose to trust and live out the commands of Christ. The passion I have for my students is growing, and each day is an informal meeting of discipleship with them. The little conversations with them, and believing in their imaginations daily will hopefully give them the strength to mature into great, loving, respectful adults. This is the start to God's wonderful plan in my life.
Lord, give me faith to believe in your miracles.
